I'm delighted to present AEIOU Foundation's Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan for 2023-2024. AEIOU is committed to the process of reconciliation, which will allow for better collaboration and knowledge sharing with First Nations Peoples, leading to the forging and maintenance of stronger relationships.
This commitment must be meaningful, mutually beneficial, and ultimately, sustainable in the long-term. Our RAP provides us with a clear plan that will promote a deep and respectful understanding of the ways in which we can better support First Nations Peoples.
This affects all parts of our organisation, including providing a safe, respectful, and culturally aware workplace, and is especially pertinent when it comes to supporting First Nations families and children in our services.
Our RAP also ties in with our organisational values of support, teamwork, excellence, and passion, and I look forward to the learnings that will come from its implementation and development.
This is only the start of a journey towards reconciliation for AEIOU. I embrace this path, and strongly encourage you all to do so with me.
