AEIOU Foundation appoints Administrators
AEIOU Foundation, a not-for-profit provider of specialised early intervention services for autistic children and their families for more than 20 years, has today announced that it will appointment Administrators. The appointment will become effective on 12 March 2026.
The decision follows a period of sustained operating pressure across the disability services sector, including rising costs, workforce shortages and ongoing changes to the funding environment.
In recent years, the AEIOU Board and management team have undertaken a range of measures to strengthen the organisation’s financial sustainability. These actions included operational restructuring, cost management initiatives and efforts to right-size the organisation in response to the evolving operating conditions facing disability service providers.
Despite these efforts, the Board has determined that entering Administration is the most responsible course of action to enable an independent and structured review of the organisation’s financial position and to consider all potential options for its future.
For more than two decades, AEIOU Foundation has been dedicated to delivering high-quality, integrated therapy, early education and care for young autistic children. Through specialised early intervention programs, the organisation has supported children at a critical stage of development to build communication, social, emotional and functional life skills.
AEIOU’s work has demonstrated that early intervention can be life-changing for autistic children and their families, while also delivering long-term social and economic benefits for the broader community.
During the Administration process, the Administrators will undertake an independent assessment of the organisation’s operations and financial position and consider potential pathways forward.
The Administrators will be:
Cameron Woodcraft and Bradley Hellen of
